RMBA CLINIC
The clinic is a safe and loving place RMBA students and parents can count on for medical advice and to help ensure the school remains healthy. Having a Registered Nurse onsite allows us to care for all our students, including those with special medical needs, such as Asthma or Diabetes.
The following are some of the methods used to keep our students safe and healthy:
RMBA is extremely proactive in control the spread of germs and viruses. Staff and students are regularly given educational updates on hygiene and germ control, including extra hand washing during flu season.
The nurse stays in touch with CDC (Center for Disease Control) on a daily basis to ensure that our protocol and information are the most current.
New to our clinic this year is an ear scan device allowing us to determine whether or not a child is experiencing an ear infection.
We have had a 2 year history of 100% immunization compliance and now going for our 3rd year.
Each year begins with a lice check to help keep the problem from spreading, students often come back from summer camp or international travel with this problem.
Our facility is equipped with 2 AED’s (Automated External Defibrillator). Most of our staff and teachers are CPR and AED certified. |
