As a school, we are fully committed to supporting the State and Land of Israel and we do this through our actions and our words. We regularly feature speakers and programs addressing issues relevant to current events in Israel as well as Israel’s role in the world at large. We encourage all of our students to spend at least a year of study in Israel upon completing their education at RMBA and are very proud of the many graduates who have made the ultimate commitment to the Jewish people and have chosen to make aliyah.

In particular, we actively support and participate in the Bnei Akiva youth movement. The local snif website can be found here and is housed at United Orthodox Synagogues

Robert M Beren Academy has a variety of technology used throughout the school by both students and teachers. We have a state of the art computer lab with twenty-two work stations. Our goal is to provide students the opportunity to explore technology in a variety of settings. In additional to regular scheduled technology classes, students are able to explore technology in their Judiac and secular class through integration projects. Technology will be integrated into the learning and instruction, consistent with the overall educational goals, values and ethics of the school and the community. We are dedicated to using technology as a means to foster the Jewish identity of our students and connect them to other Jewish communities around the world. Students use the internet as a research tool; in the process they gain the ability to deciphering quality information. TEACHER WISH LIST PROGRAM PTO has launched a new program called The Teacher Wish List. It is the result of our first open PTO meeting. During this meeting a mom mentioned she was about to give away a series of books. A teacher, who was walking by, just happened to overhear what she was saying and asked her to give them to her class. At that moment, several parents suggested that this type of donation could be a great way for parents to help out teachers and enhance their kids’ classrooms The wish list is meant to help teachers request items needed or wanted for their classrooms. The idea is not to list major expenditure items, but smaller items (monetarily) that parents may have access to and be willing to donate (books, magazines, toys, pencils, art supplies, rulers, etc.). Camp Moshava Houston combines all-star sports, top quality arts programming, Jewish studies, and Zionistic programming to provide your child with a summer that he/she will never forget. Our camp is geared so that a young artist will still enjoy a tennis match and the budding basketball star can have the lead in a dramatic production. There are two camp options at Camp Beren.
