Reports To: The Lower School Judaic Studies Principal

Job Responsibilities: There are part time teaching positions available for the upcoming school year. Subject areas include Hebrew Language and culture, Chumash, Navi, Mishna, and Chagim. The teacher will also lead Tefilla with the students, and participate in informal education programs. In addition, every teacher has a duty in school, such as lunch or recess duty, and is expected to participate in regular faculty meetings. Teachers are expected to be Torah role models to the students in dress and behavior.

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for teachers who have a passion for Chinuch, are very creative, are looking to grow, and most importantly, who love kids. Teachers should also represent the Modern Orthodox philosophy of the school.

Desired Skills and Competencies: The ideal candidate will have some of the following skills:
-Comfort teaching Ivrit B’Ivrit
-Computer Savvy (Google Docs, Ipad Apps, Smart Boards)
-Creative Abilities (ex. Art or Music)

Minimum Experience: Applicants should have at least 2 years teaching experience and ideally should have at least a B.A. degree. Additional experiences in informal education are a plus.
