Welcome to Robert M. Beren Academy!

Robert M. Beren Academy is a Modern Orthodox Jewish day school affiliated with Yeshiva University, providing a comprehensive Judaic and college preparatory education. We are committed to Torah and its ethical and moral precepts and to developing within our students a spiritual bond with the Land and State of Israel. We are also dedicated to our American heritage and achievement in contemporary society.

Robert M. Beren Academy students receive a well rounded high level Judaic studies education, such that they are equipped to enter any community or shul in the world, and participate and lead with confidence. Religious Zionism and Torah U'Madda are fundamental to the educational and religious hashkafah (philosophy) of our school. In addition, students become conversant in world issues concerning the Jewish people, empowering them to become future Jewish leaders.

We are passionate about helping our young children grow and learn by providing a nurturing environment that encourages them to actively explore and interact with their surroundings, as they develop socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, creatively and spiritually. We maintain small group sizes, ideal adult-child ratios and ensure safe physical settings. Our staff is loving, attentive and responsive to the needs of each child. We believe in providing the best possible teachers and caregivers for your child while always securing their health and safety. We strive to provide a meaningful Judaic backdrop that encompasses the celebration of Shabbat and chaggim (holidays), the immersion of Ivrit (Hebrew), and the love of Limud Kodesh (Judaic studies). At Robert M. Beren Academy, a love for being Jewish and a knowledge of tradition is paramount to our success.

Our unique Lower School program offers both Montessori and Traditional classes. The strong Hebrew language program prepares students for Hebrew fluency by 2nd Grade. The Lower School student council provides an opportunity for students to develop as young leaders in their school and communities.

Our college preparatory High School offers a broad range of AP classes as well as a wide variety of Judaic learning opportunities. In addition to rigorous academics, students may participate in the myriad of sports offerings, the annual play, yearbook, social action groups or student council.

Seniors are guided by both a College Guidance Counselor and an Israel Guidance Counselor. Most students spend at least one year in Israel before going on to study in the top universities in the country. We are very proud that our students are accepted to schools including:
