Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to serve as the Director of Jewish Life, responsible for elevating and enhancing Jewish life and programming within Robert M Beren Academy. This pivotal role involves developing a dynamic and engaging environment where Jewish values are integrated seamlessly into the daily lives of our students, faculty, and families. This is a great role for an individual who enjoys working and collaborating with students, is creative and energetic, and is able to work on multiple projects at any given time.
Responsibilities:
* You will design and implement engaging programs, events, and activities that promote Jewish life, and to celebrate and educate around the chaggim.
* You will work closely with faculty, staff, and student leaders to brainstorm, plan, and execute innovative programming aligned with the school's values and objectives.
* You will effectively communicate program details, goals, and opportunities to stakeholders including students, faculty and parents.
* You will coordinate logistics, resources, and external partnerships necessary for successful program execution.
* You will assess the effectiveness of programs through feedback mechanisms and adapt strategies to continually improve offerings.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Fridays: 7:30 AM to 2:30/3:00 PM
There will be occasional programming event requirements that will be outside of working hours, including Shabbatatonim and Motzai Shabbat.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
