Lower School Judaic Studies and Hebrew Teachers

There are part time teaching positions available for the upcoming school year. Core subject areas include Hebrew reading, Chumash, Chagim, Parsha, and Jewish Life. Teachers participate in informal education programs as part of RMBA. In addition, every teacher has a duty in school, such as lunch and recess duty, and is expected to participate in regular faculty meetings. Teachers are expected to be Torah role models to the students in dress and behavior.

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for teachers who have a passion for Chinuch, are creative, are looking to grow, and most importantly, who love children and the developmental process as it pertains to education. Teachers should be role models in all areas of living a Judaic life.

Desired Skills and Competencies: The ideal candidate will have some of the following skills:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Computer Savvy (Google Docs, Ipad Apps, Smart Boards)
- Creative Abilities (ex. Art or Music)
- Proficient in Hebrew language (Hebrew Teachers)

Minimum Experience: Applicants should have at least 2 years teaching experience and ideally should hold a B.A. degree. Additional experiences in informal education are a plus.
