Middle and High School Tanach Teacher

Reports To: The Judaic Studies Principal
Job Responsibilities: This position is a full time teaching position. Subject areas include Chumash, Navi, Talmud, and Halacha. The teacher will also lead Tefilla with students, and participate in informal education programs such as Shabbatonim. The teacher will adapt the curriculum to their style of teaching, manage their classrooms effectively, strive for maximum student engagement, assess students regularly, and proactively communicate with students, parents, and supervisors. In addition, every teacher has a duty in school, such as participating in lunch or carpool, and is expected to attend regular faculty meetings.
The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for caring teachers with a passion for Chinuch, who are growth-oriented, and who value a relationship of mutual respect with their students. Teachers should also represent the Modern Orthodox philosophy of the school. A knowledge of/ability to learn Google Suite is a must.
Minimum Experience: Applicants should have at least 2 years teaching experience and should have at least an undergraduate degree. Additional experiences in formal and informal education are a plus.
